Excellent Irish pub serving quality Irish and British beers.
Sister pub to the long established Kings Arms on nearby Roupell Street, this newly opened bar in the former Charles Dickens location is great – an Irish pub in London offering something more than just Guinness. A whole lot more, in fact, with beers from some superb Irish breweries including White Hag and Metalman. Northern Ireland is represented too, with APA from Belfast’s Boundary Brewing on draft when we visited. These are rare finds indeed in London. In total there are 4 cask, 14 keg and around 25 bottles, plus Thai food – this is great at the Kings Arms and I expect the same high quality here. Check out the traditional Irish snug, which takes me right back to the magnificent Crown Liquor Saloon in Belfast. A fantastic atmosphere and a very warm welcome make this a great new addition to the Guide.
